Fix the installation.

This happens when instructions were not properly followed during the program installation. To fix this, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Start screen.
  2. Move to the right pane and click Search Box.
  3. Type “Control Panel” in the box.
  4. Click Apps (icon).
  5. Select “Control Panel” from the results.
  6. Click More Settings.
  7. Click Programs > Programs and Features
  8. Look for Skype and right click on it.
  9. Choose Uninstall

Re-enable the Skype plug in the browser.

  3. Select the suitable updates.
